Our Standard for Every Page We Publish
calculators.credit covers personal finance topics that directly affect people's money decisions. We take that responsibility seriously, and this page explains how our content is created and maintained.
How We Create Content
Every calculator and guide is based on standard, publicly available financial formulas and methodologies — such as amortization formulas, compound interest formulas, and standard EMI calculations used industry-wide. Where we reference rates, regulations, or thresholds, we pull from publicly available sources and clearly note when a figure is an illustrative example rather than a live rate.
Review and Updates
New calculator pages and guides are reviewed before publishing. Existing pages are reviewed periodically, or sooner if a formula, rate, or regulation changes. Each page displays a "Last updated" date so you always know how current the information is.
Corrections
If you spot an error — a wrong formula, an outdated figure, or a broken calculator — we want to know. Use our Contact page to send us the page URL and a description of the issue. We aim to review correction requests promptly.
Advertising and Affiliate Disclosure
calculators.credit does not currently accept advertising or affiliate placements. All calculators and guides are provided free of charge with no commercial relationships influencing the results or content ordering.
What This Site Is Not
calculators.credit provides general calculation tools and educational content. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed financial advisor, accountant, or lender, and we don't have access to your personal financial situation. Always verify final numbers with your actual lender before making a decision.
